Every Minute Matters.

PROJECT SCOPE: Art Direction, Animated Video, Print, Social Graphics
TOOLS I USED: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects
OBJECTIVE:  A collection of materials created in support of the APAC Hospital team’s efforts to market ZOLL’s HWD (Hospital Wearable Defibrillator) device. The project came in as high priority, with a tight deadline and the need for quick collaboration between marketers, the editorial team, and creative to pull together ideas and execute them in time to coincide with an upcoming conference.

To the left is an educational flyer created as a takeaway and promotional download for eblasts.

Directly below are social media graphics created to promote the HWD’s innovative technology
to cardiologists and cardio-related doctors and nurses.

I created animated GIFS that engaged viewers by showcasing innovative technologies that have advanced over the years, and how the HWD’s technology similarly improves the care of patients and hospital protocols. One of those posts even prompts the viewer to physically interact with it by clicking or tapping on the image to align a moving heart in the center of the graphic – a challenge that takes users multiple tries and reinforces the importance of each minute when treating victims of sudden cardiac arrest.

Since launching these social posts, they have been extremely successful. They were posted on Facebook and LinkedIn, and while they all performed well, one of the graphics I created pulled
in over 50,000 impressions on LinkedIn, 600 likes, 16 shares, and nearly 7,500 link clicks.
I was informed by our social media specialist that he has used this as an example on multiple presentations to explain the power of organic social interaction.

Introducing the HWD

For this promotional video, the marketing team wanted to educate viewers on how the HWD can greatly improve SCA treatment times in the hospital. By comparing the time it takes for traditional response steps to treat a patient to how quickly the HWD can detect and treat SCA, viewers can see just how critical the HWD can be in patient survival.

For this video I was responsible for:

  • Creating a storyboard based on a script written by our editorial team

  • Animating the video with AfterEffects

  • Communicating with our voiceover artist to record appropriate voiceovers and add them to the video
